Diagnostics for a Healthier Pet

At Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital, our diagnostics tools give your pet a voice. It also allows us to honor our promise to provide exemplary care to your furry family members. With our advanced technology, we can map, diagnose, and treat hidden issues so your pet can continue to live their best life!

Ultrasound

Imaging through ultrasound allows us to have a real-time visualization of your pet’s organs. As it is non-invasive, we can check your pet’s organ function, check for abnormalities, and pinpoint important procedures such as biopsies or fluid aspiration. It is ideal for diagnosing conditions in the abdomen, heart, and reproductive organs.

X-ray

Also known as radiographs, our in-house X-ray services offer a non-invasive way to map high-quality images of your pet’s internal systems with efficiency. This process is perfect for diagnosing fractures, tumors, and organ abnormalities that might not show up in ultrasound checks.

Pairing X-rays with ultrasound means a more comprehensive, complete image of your pet.

We use these panels to check for proper organ function, blood cell counts, metabolic status, and whether they are in the proper shape for anesthesia.
