Our Therapeutic Side for Pain-Free Pets

Pain Management

Our goal at Delaware Valley Veterinary Hospital is to minimize discomfort and to help your pet live as pain free as possible! Our pain management approach is uniquely tailored to your pet’s specific needs. We can incorporate multiple therapies and diagnostics to assess your pet’s pain level and to pinpoint how to best help them. Our aim is to promote healing and health, while keeping your pet as comfortable as possible.

Arthritis can be a big source of pain for adult and senior pets. We are pleased to offer Librela for arthritis in dogs and Solensia for arthritis in cats, alongside other recommended medications from our in-house pharmacy.

Laser Therapy

Our state-of-the-art laser therapy utilizes focused light to speed up healing, reduce inflammation, ease joint disorders, and improve post-surgical recovery. It is non-invasive, which means there is no need for anesthesia. We can incorporate laser therapy alongside other procedures to maximize healing, reduce discomfort, and assist with surgical procedures.

For your pet, this means a quicker return to living their best life while minimizing complications.

Chiropractic Referrals

For pets with chronic or acute joint pains, we can refer to veterinary chiropractic care to continue your pet’s pain management. We are proud to work with Dr. Steven S. Fries, certified by The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, who provides chiropractic services with an emphasis on functional neurology.
